In the making of his prints Peter Freeth works alone in his studio, free
of any technical collaboration or commercial publishing and produces aquatint prints of extraordinary originality. Absent is the strong contrast of blacks and whites and in its place refined tones, subtle transitions and a delicate play of light.  A lifetime’s fascination and study of printmaking has given him the skills and the liberty to invent at will and he has developed a unique and radical approach to printmaking.
